Melanie Page-Wood is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) with more than 25 years of experience in the mental health and substance use treatment field. Since 1999, she has worked with individuals, families, employers, courts, and community organizations, helping people navigate challenges, achieve recovery goals, and create lasting positive change.

Throughout her career, Melanie has provided counseling, assessments, case management, employee assistance services, and behavioral health evaluations in a variety of settings, including community mental health, outpatient treatment programs, employee assistance programs, and private practice. She has extensive experience conducting substance use evaluations, mental health assessments, and driver’s license restoration evaluations.

As the founder of Great Lakes Evaluations and Bright Hope Counseling Center, Melanie combines clinical expertise with a commitment to professionalism, compassion, and integrity. She understands that pursuing driver’s license restoration can feel overwhelming and strives to make the evaluation process clear, supportive, and efficient.

Melanie specializes in Michigan Secretary of State Substance Use Evaluations (SOS-257) and provides comprehensive, objective evaluations designed to meet Secretary of State requirements. Her goal is to help clients confidently navigate the restoration process while accurately presenting their recovery journey.

She serves clients throughout Michigan through secure virtual appointments, making the evaluation process convenient, confidential, and accessible.

kathy Wenger, LPC, CAADC, CCS

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with more than 30 years of experience in the behavioral health and substance use treatment field.

Throughout her career, Kathy has provided assessment, counseling, case management, clinical supervision, crisis intervention, and program leadership services in both community mental health and addiction treatment settings. She has extensive experience working with individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders and has dedicated her career to helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting change.

Kathy currently serves as a Crisis Services Supervisor and has supervised clinicians pursuing professional licensure and addiction certifications. Her background includes developing outpatient addiction programs, conducting comprehensive assessments, and coordinating care for individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
